MSc. Do Ba DanPresident Mr. Do Ba Dan is one of the most prominent figures in the field of science, technology, and digital transformation in Vietnam. He is known as the Founder and Chairman of Tri Nam Group Joint Stock Company – one of the pioneering corporations in applying technology to infrastructure development and public administration. Under his leadership, Tri Nam Group has grown strongly, establishing a solid position in the digital technology ecosystem and accompanying the modernization and digitization process across many key sectors. Placing community value and social welfare as guiding principles, he has successfully developed many projects for the common good. One notable example is the TNGo public bicycle system (operated by Tri Nam Digital Transport Services JSC), which promotes green transportation and contributes to building an environmentally friendly national identity. With extensive experience in managing and operating large-scale public–private partnership projects, Mr. Do Ba Dan has oriented the Institute’s research and technological solution deployment activities toward practicality, synchronization, and alignment with the needs of the digital economy. Under his guidance, the Institute has gradually affirmed its role as a leading research and application unit, contributing to enhancing digital capabilities for organizations and enterprises while promoting the national digital transformation process toward modernization and sustainability. |

Dr. Bui Ba ChinhChairman of the Advisory Council Dr. Bui Ba Chinh is currently the Acting Director of the National Barcode Center (NBC), where he has led the organization to become a national leader in barcode management, traceability, and electronic labeling in Vietnam. He also plays a key role in advising on the development of legal documents, implementing national projects on traceability and electronic labeling, and developing technological platforms that support enterprises. He has spent many years conducting research at leading institutes in South Korea and serves as a member of the Expert Liaison Committee of the Vietnamese Embassy. In addition to his professional work, he actively promotes international cooperation, contributing to the introduction of advanced metrology, quality, and testing technologies to Vietnam, thereby enhancing research capacity and supporting the sustainable development of the technology sector. As Chairman of the Advisory Council at the IDT Institute, Dr. Bui Ba Chinh contributes to shaping research directions and technological solutions, particularly in the fields of quality management and digital transformation of products and goods, helping improve the competitiveness and operational efficiency of Vietnamese enterprises. |

Dr. Le Ngoc ThucChairman of the Management Council Dr. Le Ngoc Thuc currently serves as the Chairman of the Management Council at the IDT Institute. He earned his Ph.D. in South Korea and has over 10 years of research experience at domestic and international technology institutes and centers. Dr. Thuc is also the Director of the Vietnam–Korea Center for Innovation and Technology (INCENTECH), where he oversees numerous technology innovation projects in collaboration with international partners from countries such as South Korea, Singapore, and others. He has extensive experience in managing large-scale projects on standards, certification, and technology development, as well as in research and development of high-tech products. In addition, he is the Founder and CEO of PSI Testing and Certification Joint Stock Company – a leading unit in the field of battery testing in Vietnam. As Chairman of the Management Council, Dr. Le Ngoc Thuc is expected to play a key role in driving digital transformation, technological application, and innovation at the IDT Institute. |

Dr. Nguyen Dinh Duc NhaChairman of the Scientific Council Dr. Nguyen Dinh Duc Nha is a reputable expert in the fields of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and cryptography. He is currently a Lecturer at VinUniversity and the Founder of VCyber Lab. He obtained his Master’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Queensland (Australia) and earned his Ph.D. in Cybersecurity from Deakin University (Australia), where he also completed his postdoctoral research program. With many years of experience in research and teaching, Dr. Nha specializes in areas such as post-quantum cryptography (PQC), AI-powered cybersecurity, and IoT device security. He is the founder and leader of VCyber Lab and serves as a consultant for companies in the fields of security and risk assessment. He has received several international awards, notably the Third Prize at the C2C International Cybersecurity Competition 2022 organized by MIT. As Chairman of the Scientific Council, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Duc Nha will guide the Institute’s research strategy and the development of advanced technological solutions, promoting digital transformation and information security applications. |

MSc. Nguyen Manh TruongVice President MSc. Nguyen Manh Truong is currently the Vice President of the IDT Institute and concurrently serves as the CEO of Tri Nam Group Joint Stock Company. He earned his Master’s degree in Information Technology from Hanoi University of Science and Technology – one of Vietnam’s leading technical universities. With a strong academic foundation, he has developed a modern technological mindset that effectively integrates research, application, and management in the context of digital transformation. With 18 years of experience in the technology and business management sectors, he has led numerous large-scale digitalization, digital governance, and technology infrastructure projects. His strategic planning skills, operational management, and effective resource coordination have contributed to establishing Tri Nam as a pioneering technology enterprise with high competitiveness and adaptability. In his leadership role at the Institute, he serves as a bridge between academic research and practical application, promoting comprehensive digital transformation across both public and private sectors. In 2007, he was honored with the First Prize at the Vietnamese Talent Awards, affirming his creativity and strategic vision in the field of information technology. |

Eng. Pham Ha DuyDeputy Director Eng. Pham Ha Duy serves as the Deputy Director of IDT Institute, while also holding the position of Director of the i-Tech Center under Tri Nam Group Joint Stock Company. With a strong professional background in information technology and system management, he is among the most experienced experts in software application development, information system construction, and technology transfer for enterprises and government agencies.
As the valedictorian graduate of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Mr. Pham Ha Duy possesses over 10 years of experience in programming, system analysis and design, and the implementation of comprehensive technology solutions.
With his systematic thinking and strong organizational skills, he plays a core role in the Institute’s digital transformation research and application activities, contributing to promoting innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and optimizing processes. |

Eng. Phan Van HiepDeputy Director Mr. Phan Van Hiep serves as the Deputy Director of IDT Institute. He is also the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at SPHINX Joint Stock Company, an IT outsourcing company with nearly 300 employees. With over 10 years of experience in the information technology field, he has participated in and led numerous major digital transformation projects, including the development of software and technology systems for the General Department of Taxation, VNeID, and various other large-scale initiatives.
In addition to his role at SPHINX, Mr. Phan Van Hiep is the Founder and CEO of Fanvity Vietnam Co., Ltd., where he developed a traceability system funded by Safegro (Canada) and the Verify product authentication solution for enterprises.
With extensive experience in leading digital transformation projects and developing technological solutions for both the public and private sectors, he is expected to make significant contributions to advancing technology adoption in Vietnam through the initiatives of IDT Institute. |
